The Search button on the web browser will open a companion window to the left of your main window.  You can perform searches from that window too - but the search engines offered may not be the ones you like.

The more you use the Internet, you will find that you prefer some search engines and web directories more than others.

As you perform searches, you will find some web sites that you would like to revisit at another time.  You can save the addresses of these web sites in your personal Bookmarks (Netscape) or Favorites (Internet Explorer) folders. Instructions for saving Bookmarks/Favorites are included the Bookmarks section of this web site.
